Siamese
History of Taina Lima - Bahia, Brasil
Siamese cats are one of the oldest and most recognized cat breeds in the world, known for their distinctive appearance and vocal, affectionate personality. Originally from Thailand (formerly Siam), with a history that dates back centuries. They were introduced to the West at the end of the 19th century. It has a short, soft coat that adheres to the body, with a dotted color pattern, where the body is light and the extremities (ears, face, paws and tail) are darker. They have large, almond-shaped, vivid blue eyes. The Siamese's short coat is easy to care for and requires only occasional brushing to remove loose hair and maintain shine. They are generally healthy, but may be predisposed to certain genetic conditions, such as dental problems and heart disease.
